Mapping the Hyundai Accent in 3 Dimensions, no…really 3D!
A lot of projectionmapping on buildings these days is pretty much about the content and not so much about the mapping. By that, I mean most projects end up being just a giant projection, and not really a mapping, per se. This one, though, breaks that idea right down the middle. I can’t believe this didn’t cross my desktop earlier. They hung a damn car on the wall and had a stuntman climb in it! The projection itself used 6 hd projectors, 10 hd cameras, and 6 cranes to accomplish this insane task. Bread Communications out of South Korea is the media collective responsible for this crazy stunt.
