DWP projection ! This WAS NOT projection mapped. It was 12 projectors aiming straight down with blending done within the Barco projectors. The surface was a white rectangle. The secret was in the content.
I suppose we’re at the point where the term “projectionmapping” is about the same as “3D” or “holographic”. Those terms have been interchanged and misused for years. My personal pet peeve is “4D” mapping….ugh. You could say, technically, that it was “pixel-mapped” if you consider the content was integrated into the LED rig onstage, but that’s another discussion entirely!
