The Largest Projection Project Ever

It was the celebration for the 400th anniversary of Quebec and I had seen a bunch of coverage of this last summer, but this article has a great explanation of the nuts and bolts that made it all happen. A lot of times giant projects are more about the animators than the technology behind it, so I’m glad they were able to include a pretty good write-up of the gear. The people at EX MACHINA get a big high-five for being able to pull it off. I had the pleasure of working with Solotech for a huge gig here and I had no idea they were this big. ┬áHere at Projectionfreak, we want to give credit where credit is due because we’re all gear-heads at heart. Dig it!
